On behalf of The executive organizing committee of the 3rd ARC, and on behalf of the Pan Arab Association of Radiological Societies (PAARS), I am pleased to welcome you again in Jordan to attend theThird Arab Radiology Congress (ARC).

This annual largest regional radiology congress is meant to provide the most recent advances in diagnostic radiology as well as in interventional and molecular radiology by having comprehensive categorical courses in all radiology subspecialties and to provide a platform of high level education and knowledge to the Radiologists in the Arab world and neighboring countries. Also it is designed to promote and enhance education in allied radiological specialties as radiological technology, radiological physics.

Dear Friends & Colleagues

 It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Fifth Scientific Meeting of the Pan Arab Interventional Radiology Society (PAIRS) which will be held in parallel with the 3rd Arab Radiology Congress (ARC) at Dead Sea –Jordan between April 28th- May 2nd.2010

PAIRS main goal is to promote the interventional practice in the Arab World and to provide a forum for collaboration and learning for the entire practicing interventionalist in this region. Since its first meeting in Dubai in 2006, the society has held 4 meetings so far trying to achieve this goal.

The fifth Scientific Meeting is designed to address the recent changes in the practice of interventional Radiology and to track some of the global practices and advancements in the field. Together with the executive board of the PAIR society and through the participation of all PAIRS members in nomination and voting, we have been able to secure the participation of several excellent international speakers who will be covering a variety of important topics.

The technical exhibition with its large and relaxing hall will provide the ideal setting for interaction with the various companies that are our partners in intervention and to learn about the new products.

Jordan has lived through the seconds of time and made of itself an open air museum of historic recitals, through the timeless slender of the dead sea , the baptism site, Petra the rose Nabatean city chiseled out of rocks and new wonder of the World, Mount Nebo the memorial destination of Moses and Jerash the exquisite roman city. A social and cultural program was also arranged for a journey in history.
